We love seeing pics from our Caravan Culture ‘Family’ living life in their caravans. This pic was taken in Nannup – South West Western Australia.
Nannup is historic character filled town situated on the banks of the Blackwood River. Bullnose verandas, weatherboard shop fronts and colourful flower boxes enhance the delightful appeal of the town. The main street is lined with tearooms and gift stores full of local wares.
You can walk, ride and drive through forest and along the river, taking in magnificent views. And let’s not forget about the food & drink. Think local cheese, wine, chestnuts (April to June), honey, free-range eggs, olives and fruit (December to April). There is also a chance to catch fresh fish, or try a regional delicacy, marron (freshwater crayfish). When in town, ask for directions to the beautiful lavender farm (in season December to January).
Nannup is home to the Flower and Garden Festival each August which stars Nannup’s beautiful displays of tulips. Love the colour of these tulips 🌷
